Snap a page of piano music.
Hear how it goes, and see which finger plays each note.
Little Keys reads the photo, plays the piece back and shows it on a keyboard, note by note. You don't need to read music to help with practice.

From the music stand to hearing it, in three steps
-
1
Snap
Photograph the page you are working on, straight from the music book. If the piece runs over to the next page, take up to 4 pages in one go.
-
2
Check
Little Keys shows what it read next to your photo. Compare the two, bar by bar. If a note sits in the wrong place, tap it and move it.
-
3
Practise
Play it back slowly. Loop the bars that keep going wrong. Watch the keyboard light up and the hands show which finger goes where.
Help with practice, even if you can't read music
Most practice happens at home, between lessons, with you in the room. If the page looks like a code you never learned, Little Keys turns it into something you can hear and see.
-
Hear how it should sound
Not sure how a piece should sound? Play it and listen together. You'll hear straight away whether the practice matches.
-
See which hand, and which finger
Orange is the left hand, blue is the right. Each note lights a key and a finger on a drawn hand, so you can glance over and see if the right finger is down.
-
Slow the hard part down
Loop the two bars that keep going wrong at a slower speed until they feel easy, then bring the speed back up.
-
A place for everyone who plays
Everyone in the family who plays has their own pieces and songbooks, so this week's piece is easy to find again.
What it is, and what it isn't
Little Keys is a practice helper for the days between lessons, not a replacement for a piano teacher. It reads music from a photo, and now and then it will misread a note. That's what the Check step is for, and it doesn't need music reading either: you're matching dots on lines, like spotting the difference between two pictures.
Little Keys for iPad and iPhone
An app for iPad and iPhone is on the way, made for the tablet on the music stand.
Privacy first. That is why we chose the EU.
Privacy matters to us, so Little Keys keeps your family's photos and pieces in the EU, protected by EU data protection rules. Every family gets the same setup, wherever you live: outside the EU, your data is kept in the EU too. Nothing is deleted unless you ask.
Next time practice stalls on a tricky bar, snap the page.
